It’s no secret that I bleed green. Well, I was sitting around a couple weeks ago and was looking at some AdiumXtras when I noticed a lack of Michigan State representation so I decided to throw something together to honor my alma mater (and the best damn basketball program over the last decade!). So here is the Adium MSU Basketball dock icon! Maybe a football and hockey one will follow if I get creatively inspired again. Let me know what you think…

Congratulations to my beloved Spartans! 2007 NCAA Hockey Champs!

I was a basket case Saturday night. What an awesome, tight, close game. I have to admit, I didn’t have a good feeling when Abdelkader posted that shot with 25 seconds to go, but, true to their game, they kept after it and he got a sweet pass off of a nifty move from Kennedy to score the winner with 18.2 seconds left.

I was elated but quickly felt a bit morose when the camera shot of the Spartans bench going ape shit quickly turned to a lone Boston College player with his head hanging in disbelief. BC lost last year in overtime so I can’t imagine the disappointment the guys that are holdovers from that team felt.
